Leggings and tights on men are not accepted by most people, But i think it's not a bad idea at all, Maybve because it's awkward to see men in leggings means they can't wear those. I think we are not only used seeing men in tights so we tend that it's not ideal for them,.

[I apologize if this is a duplicate post, but it displayed at first and then disappeared. If this was a moderated blog, I wouldn't think it would've appeared at first--anyways sorry in advance....]

I believe I was the impetus for this article, as I was soliciting feedback on Gather about what people thought of the whole men's legwear (i.e., tights/pantyhose) concept back in the fall. In the meantime, I've moved from my old profession as an engineer to a new one as marketing director for ActivSkin Legwear for Men. In that capacity, I've been actively engaged in trying to shape public perceptions of this emerging trend in positive ways, by disseminating the full story so maybe it can replace some fo the superficial reporting that appears from time to time out there.

Part of that effort has included launching a blog by the name of The Nylon Gene (www.nylongene.com) last month. In the ensuing weeks, I've been posting such things as 'Men's Legwear: A Little Background', 'The Politics of Mantyhose', 'What IS the Nylong Gene?' and commentary on a variety of news stories. The idea is that as people become more aware of the legitimate reasons for which men are beginning to wear nylon legwear, the old misguided stereotypes will continue to melt away. We've seen this in practice already, and expect it to continue and even accelerate in the coming years.

Some of the comments we see posted on blogs such as this illlustrate the need for this sort of proactive approach. For example, "I won't love a man who wears pantyhose." I mean, come on! What's up with that attitude? How can this person make such a broad brush dismissal without even knowing one thing about the man's character or personality? She probably labors under the misguided notion that a guy who wears pantyhose must be some sort of sexual deviant (wonder if he's gay?... is he a secret transvestite?...).

Those are the type of comments that prove the need for something like our blog, to blow the dust of those thinking bones out there. So, stop on by The Nylon Gene and see what you think.

I have recently shaved my legs and yes I do agree they do look and feel better also, I wear several different styles from tights to sheer pantyhose just depends on what I'm doing , recently I have been wearing support hosiery and I have found they feel and fit as nice as daysheer style hosiery just depends on the brand and style as brands vary quite differently in size. I'm 57 married and have been wearing pantyhose for many years.

I think that a good pair of pantyhose under trousers is very comfortable often during the cold season.
one only thing i must say that pantyhose is not comfortable when yuo need a toilet.
